Cadence Kasprick, a senior at Grand County High, won the Class 2A girls state crown by covering the 5-kilometer layout in 17:49.7 at the Utah High School Activities Association Cross Country Championships at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. Kasprick finished sixth in Class 3A in 2021 and third in Class 3A last season, before competing in Class 2A this year.
